A bit about Moni-Mixes
Hi, I'm Monica, the owner of Moni-Mixes. Welcome to my site - please take time to explore and if you have any questions please use the contact form or leave comments at the bottom of articles and recipes.
Cooking has always been a passion of mine and I am always trying new recipes and inventing some of my own. I love making food for others and adapting recipes for friends and family with dietry restictions.
When my amazing cousin Nel first showed me her TM31 in action in 2012, I could immediatly see the possiblities that it would enable with my own cooking.
My husband and I bought our first Thermomix in July, 2013 right after the arrival of our youngest child. Over the coming months the Thermomix had transformed our kitchen into a powerhouse of awesome meals, desserts, sorbets, juices and nutritious babyfood.
In 2016 I decided to become a Thermomix Consultant to share my passion for cooking and the Thermomix with others.
The Thermomix Revolution
I feel there is a home-cooking revolution happening in kitchens right accross Australia. People that have bought a Thermomix are saving time, broadening their cooking options and many are also able to reduce their grocery bill. While the Thermomix has been around since the 70's in Europe, Aussies are only now starting to 'get-it' and are making it the go-to appliance in the kitchen.
For me, I am able to save time, money and cook more and varied meals than I was ever able to before owning a Thermomix. It is the centerpiece in my kitchen, I even take it on holidays with me.
Food allergies and intolerences are seemingly becoming more common, this can severly restrict what some people can eat and limit their dining options. Cooking with a Thermomix can radically improve the variety of meal options for people with restrictive diets. It certainly has for me.
