Moo Pie
Ingredients
- 500g beef mince
- 1 onion
- 40g olive oil
- 2 small carrots
- 1 zucchini
- 1/2 red capsicum
- 75g frozen peas
- 100g red wine
- 1 kg red potatoes peeled & diced (i prefer to peel mine but many people don't)
- if you don't want potatoes use celeriac or sweet potato
- 1 tsp beef stock
- 1 jar pasta sauce
- 1 tbs vegetable stock
- 1/2 - 1 cup water or milk
- Your choice of cheese
- Place onion into your bowl & chop for 2 seconds speed 6. Scrap down & add 20g oil & cook for 3 minutes 100 degrees speed 2. While this is cooking chop your veggies
- Place your veggies (except peas) pasta sauce, beef stock & wine into your bowl & chop for 10 seconds speed 5.
- Place simmering basket on top of your sauce & break up your minced meat into the simmering basket.
- Place your Varoma with potatoes or celeriac inside & place into position cooking for 30 minutes Varoma temperature speed 2.
- Turn your oven on to 180 degrees. Set your potatoes aside while you carefully tip your mince into your sauce using your spatula. Add your frozen peas & mix on REVERSE for 10 seconds speed 3.
- Pour your meat sauce into a large oven proof rectangle dish.
- DO NOT CLEAN YOUR BOWL!
- Add butterfly to your bowl then tip potaotes around. Add remaining 20 g oil & vegetable stock and mix while adding milk or water to the desired consistency.
- Scoop on top of your meat sauce then sprinkle with desired amount of cheese.
- Cook until brown around 15 minutes.
